Antique Art Nouveau 9ct gold seed pearl and turquoise brooch. Fully hallmarked 1908.

Elegant antique Edwardian brooch created with 9ct gold, turquoise and seed pearls. The shape is typical of the era, which saw sentimental floral motifs and crescent moons set with these precious stones. The design could also be viewed as a bird in flight with outstretched wings.

Hallmarks to reverse: VP & Co. (goldsmith), 9.375 (gold purity), anchor (Birmingham, England Assay Office), i (the date letter for 1908).
