Late 1700s to 1820s antique Georgian brooch.

9ct gold flat cut almandine garnet lace pin in 'pie crust' collet setting. Closes with a c catch. A petite brooch that would have originally fastened a lace collar, or similar, around the neckline.

Tests up to 10ct gold. The foil backed stones have a purple red hue and are closed back.

Condition: A few nibbles and signs of wear but a sweet little brooch with vibrant colour. The c catch is a little wonky, making fastening the pin a little tricky but it all works fine - see all images.

All vintage items have been pre-used, unless stated otherwise, and may have gentle signs of wear.
