Blue vintage Chinese kung fu, tang or chore jacket with Mandarin collar, front frog knotted button closures (pánkòu), four working patch pockets and white upturned cuffs. Unlined. This would have been manufactured for international export.

This style of tangzhuang or tang jacket (widely known as a Kung Fu top) is traditionally worn for martial arts but the style became popular as a work or casual jacket - the addition of two extra pockets makes it more practical for every day use. These are sometimes referred to as a chore or work jacket.

This is on a 34" bust mannequin and shown oversized, very loose fit.

Best fit: m/l UK 14 - 18, up to 42"/44" chest to allow room but see the actual garment measurements below. These are designed to be slightly loose to allow for movement or you may prefer an oversized look.
