Be a vintage Bohemian in this beautiful 1970s nightdress by Jensi Trachten. 

Created from crisp ivory white cotton with blue check and white lace trims, billowy sleeves that have beautiful embroidered panels and elasticated frill cuff. This would also be a great holiday cover up or loungewear with its cool cotton and folksy style.

Closes with a Dorset button to the front neck.

Trachten is traditional Bavarian folk dress. Jensi Trachten is possibly similar to Lanz in that it produced a range of garments in addition to dirndls and similar heritage garments.

Size:

Best fit: M/L approx UK 16 - 18 but see below. This is made to be worn loose and is shown on a size UK 12 mannequin.
Bust: approx 40/42" to allow for the shape and comfort.
Underarm to underarm: 24" (laid flat)
Armhole circumference: approx 19"
Waist: up to 55"
Sleeves from underarm to cuff: 17"
Hips: up to 60"
Length: 46 1/2"
Measurements are in inches and are taken with the garment laid flat.

The best way to check fit is to use a tape measure to measure yourself or an item from your wardrobe and check against the above. Once you have your measurements it makes buying vintage easier as standard sizes generally do not apply.

Condition: Very good. The elastic in the cuffs has slackened but personally I think it looks better for it. Clean and ready to wear.
