Handmade by its only owner in the 1960s from the 1961 McCall's 5866 sewing pattern designed by Hannah Troy (petite dress bust 37 1/2). This listing is for the dress and does not include the sewing pattern.

The raglan sleeve dress has a 'dart fitted bodice and two-piece, front wrapped skirt. Corded piping in square neckline and sleeves and in waistline seam. Right skirt pleated in waistline seam at left front. Applied "spaghetti" bow. Center back zipper closing.'

This listing is for the dress only (the McCall's 5866 design is a highly prized sewing pattern, popular with sewers and collectors). The owner actually won a sewing competition and if you scroll through the images you will see why. The fabric is soft to touch and is lovely quality. A good example of early 1960s British fashion.
