History snippet:
If you happen to be walking down Generał Andersa Street in Sosnowiec, Poland you might see a tall multi storey derelict building that was once owned by the Wanda Knitting Company. The factory opened in 1972, producing good quality clothing for the domestic and overseas markets (inc. USSR, Canada, USA, France, Finland and Kuwait). It was one of the largest textile manufacturers in Poland. As with our dress, most of the garments produced were created from anilana (acrylic) and later bistor (I believe this is a type of crimplene). In 1987, 2,400,000 pieces were produced. In 1988, 1,100 people worked there, with 85% of workers being women. Following the demise of the Polish People's Republic, the 1990s brought many changes, including imports of international clothing brands that had previously been unattainable to the majority. The company went into decline and folded by the end of the decade.

Important: Follow the care label instructions. Use a cool iron where necessary and keep away from naked flames / heat sources. All vintage items have been pre-used, unless stated otherwise, and may have gentle signs of wear.
