1970s Cheesecloth Sun Dress
This lovely 70’s/early 80’s vintage summer dress is in one of my favourite fabrics, cheesecloth.
The crinkle fabric is a semi sheer gauze and unlined. The navy trim is edged in gold thread and spotted with gold dots as is the tie belt.
The ideal holiday dress as you just roll it up, throw it in a case and you're set.
Best fit: approx UK10/12
Bust: 34” - 36”
Waist: stretches 28” to 32”
Hips: 40”
Length: 40”
Due to the nature of the fabric/cut, there is some give in the measurements.
Label: Pitava 36 100% cotton
Condition: Overall good condition, a lovely pristine white, but has some very faint marks to front skirt which are not immediately obvious and I’m sure will continue to fade as the dress is washed. Also, the waist elastic isn’t super tight but personally I think that’s a good thing.
This has been hand washed, is super clean and ready to wear.
All vintage items have been pre-used, unless stated otherwise, and may have gentle signs of wear.
