True vintage Sixties' sleeveless floral print A line dress with Nehru collar.

A bold floral cotton print featuring an abundance of red and lilac flowers against a blue and purple backdrop.

This colourful 1960s dress has two diagonal ruffles from the neck to the hips, accentuated with three diagonal rows of two cream buttons to the bodice centre. Closes with metal zippers to the nape and side. Bra strap holders have been sewn into the shoulders to ensure there's no strap slippage.

Measures:  Best fit UK 8 - the dress has narrow hips and is a pull on dress so you need to allow for wriggle room / getting it on over your shoulders.

Condition: Good overall but a few pin prick holes to front side, minor marks and general wear (fading to the zip, stitches missing inner armhole etc). This is made from a very soft cotton and is unlined. Please see all images as they form part of the description.

Makyta emerged from 'First Slovak Clothing Factory, Bratislava', founded in 1939. Based in Púchov, Slovakia, the firm still has a strong manufacturing presence today. Their website states it the last large clothing company from the former Czechoslovakia.
