Beautiful green Guilloche enamel vintage Art Deco 1930's brush with sterling silver trim.
Hallmarked to 1936 by W. B. Broadway & Co, Birmingham, England.
With its soft bristles, this was possibly a clothes brush for a dressing table. The bristles are attached to a wood base, which sits (a little loosely) within the silver frame but is sturdy enough. See condition below and all images.
Hallmarks: Anchor (Birmingham), Lion Passant (British silver quality mark), G (dates this to 1936).
Maker marks: B & Co. Broadway and Co. was founded by William Benjamin Broadway in 1901.
Width: 3.5 cm
Length: 14 cm
Condition: Overall good with general age wear, scuffs and dings as seen in the images - please look at them all. A few tiny nibbles to one end of the enamel.
All vintage items have been pre-used, unless stated otherwise, and may have gentle signs of wear.
