1950s 1960s vintage Venetian Murano glass statement necklace in pink, red, orange and ivory glass beads.

This beautiful Italian glass beaded necklace features an array of colours and design of bead, including: rich deep red and shocking pink beads, faceted clear and red beads, white beads and red, orange and ivory swirl Murano lampwork glass beads.

The multi strand necklace has five cascading strands and is finished with the most amazing clasp, which is embedded with glass gems. I have only found one necklace that has a similar, albeit smaller clasp. Think of all those Mid Century Italian jewellery designers like Coppola e Toppo and Giuliano Fratti, which this is similar to but the box clasp is unsigned.

Measures:
Length: 18 inches when closed.

Condition: Very good overall with age wear to some of the metal spacers and beads - mainly towards the last 3 or so inches of the ends but please see all images and zoom in too as they form part of the description.

Important: Please keep all beads and small items of jewellery away from young children as they could present a choking hazard.

All vintage items have been pre-used, unless stated otherwise, and may have gentle signs of wear.
