The Tiger's Eye is a particularly beautiful piece of tumbled natural mineral, with golden strands running across the deep brown setting. Just the thing for accessorising an autumn fall outfit.

Tiger's Eye belongs to the quartz family and is a chatoyant gemstone - the bands have a silky effect that alter and shimmer in the light. The mineral has many associated properties and meanings; Roman soldiers are said to have used it for protection and some believe it brings a sense of clarity to the wearer.

Features 10 glass beads, with contrast chocolate brown running through 4 of them, hanging from a gold metal link chain with barrel clasp.

Length: 51 cm / 20 inches
Length of Tiger Eye stone: 2.5 cm

Condition: Very good. There is a natural indentation on the otherwise polished agate - see images.
