Early 1960s vintage cocktail dress with waterfall organza cape to back.

In a shimmery blue and purple floral abstract print, this sleeveless shift dress will make a dramatic entrance and exit. 

Originally made in the Sixties by the owner I acquired this from so it's a handmade true vintage dress. I also have another of her dresses, listed as a sarong dress, in my store. This has a built in lining but is a lightweight (Nylon or Acetate) dress over-all. The back has a short, draped 'mini' cape that lays over the longer cape.

Condition: Very good overall. Has approx 3 pin holes to cape plus a one inch sewn up rip (probably caused by a hot iron) plus a little patchiness to lining colour - see images.

Important: Use a cool iron where necessary and keep away from naked flames / heat sources.

All vintage items have been pre-used, unless stated otherwise, and may have gentle signs of wear.
