1950s vintage Kigu 'Trinket Box'. A floral lucite powder compact and lipstick gift set with comb in a satin and red velvet lined trinket / jewellery case.

The original Fifties' price was approx. 80 shillings (about £80 today) so they were a luxury gift for many. See condition notes below.

This vintage vanity set is encased within a cream textured hard body Luxon (imitation leather) case decorated with gold flora to the top. The top layer pulls out to leave a red lined case that may also be used as a jewellery box.

Contents and condition notes:
- Hair comb with gold metal and floral perspex cover - looks used (cover has marks).
- Lipstick holder and cover - looks unused (missing its decorative lucite top, see image).
- Powder compact with floral lucite raised centre - looks unused. Has a clear mirror, Kigu signed gold lid and powder well with original sifter (missing powder puff but unbranded ones are available from most chemists).
Case: Small amount of wear to the satin edges and velvet.
