True vintage Art Deco era 1930's Czech glass dress clip in translucent pressed glass.

Dress clips were all the rage from the 1920s to 1950s but started to decline after that. At their height in the 1930s, many jewellery companies rushed to patent the latest closing mechanisms and designs - such as the Coro duette. Often worn in a pair, they would be worn as brooches to decorate a dress or to keep an outer garment, such as an evening coat, or cardigan (or fur collar) in place - hence the sharp teeth used to grip.

Measures: 2 inches length.

Condition: Good overall but just spotted chips to inside glass edge.
