True vintage 1960s black and gold floral compact for pressed face powder.

Features a a decorative lid with a posy of flowers to the centre against the brass finish surrounded by a band of black and gold abstract flowers and smaller colourful posies. The main case is a gold coloured brass with a daisy flower style base. Opens to reveal the mirror and a plastic insert stamped British Made in which to insert a cake of pressed face powder (available from main beauty brands). Please see the condition report below.

Width: 7.7 cm / 3 inches

Condition: Nice but with imperfections. Has a crack to the liner (unseen when powder cake is inserted), scratches to base and wear in areas. There is a small crack to the hinge so this will not tolerate force but it opens and closes. See all images prior to purchase.
