Antique Art Nouveau pressed frosted glass brooch.

This beautiful late 1800s, early 20th Century antique pressed glass brooch is in the British Art Nouveau style and has similar rose motifs to those found in Charles Rennie Mackintosh designs.

The pressed glass has a blue tint, which is unusual. I have only seen one of this design before, albeit in a clear glass. The frame is silver. Closes with a c catch and the hinge and pin are in good condition.

A special piece of antique jewellery that would be a wonderful gift. The majority of my jewellery is sent in either a new cardboard presentation box or a black velvet pouch.
