This is a very sweet guilloché brooch by Volmer Bahner. Made in Denmark. A sterling silver circle decorated with white enamel teardrops.
Bahner was a Danish company, operating from the early 1960s to the late 1980s, which became internationally acclaimed enamel specialists.
Like many Danish jewellery makers before them, Bahner pieces were often inspired by the natural world and they are well known for their lily and shell motifs. Their smaller pieces were created for young girls and are particularly charming.
Closes with a rollover catch.
