Features a dark blue, almost black, ground with a plethora of colourful flowers to the top. The gold border and fluted mirror edges (a feature of the Queen and Princess designs) adds an extra level of sophistication.
The gold base has the chevron and stripes engine turned design with the Stratton logo at its centre. Opens to reveal a clear mirror and powder well.
Includes a felt Stratton pouch but the fit is tight so it's probably not original to this compact.
Loose face powder and solid refills (which clip into the base) are available at many main beauty brands, just check the sizing when buying.
Measures: 3 1/4 inches diameter
