Vintage brown knit dress with terracotta zigzags.

A smart, stylish retro dress that is ideal for the transition from Winter into Spring as it is fully lined. Has a 1940's feel to it but this is from the 1970s.

Features a neat, pointed collar, has sewn down vertical pleats to the front bodice, has a fitted waist, a self fabric belt with black enamel and brass buckle, has a taped hem and pleated skirt. Closes with a concealed metal zipper and is fully lined, including the arms. A good quality dress. See condition below.

Important note: The cuffs do not have buttons and need connecting buttons or cuff links to slip through the cuffs holes. Alternatively a button can sewn onto each cuff.

Best fit: small approx UK 8, US 6 - note the shoulder measurement.

Underarm to underarm: 17 inch
Shoulders: 13 1/2 inch
Sleeves: 21 1/2 inch
Waist: 27 inch
Hips: 40 inch
Length: 40 inch
The best way to check fit is to use a tape measure to measure yourself or an item from your wardrobe and check against the above. Once you have your measurements it makes buying vintage easier as standard sizes generally do not apply.

Label: a single label with pen inscription that is hard to decipher.

Condition: Excellent outwardly. The lining has a few bust seams. Clean and ready to wear.

All vintage items have been pre-used, unless stated otherwise, and may have gentle signs of wear.
